Clyde Veterinary Hospital is part of the VetPay network of clinics, offering hassle-free, flexible veterinary finance options that mean you won’t have to worry about upfront costs.

How It Works

VetPay works through a speedy and simple online approvals process. Your pre-approval is completely free of charge and obligation free, and is valid to be drawn on for 90 days. If you find you no longer need the financing then you will never be required to pay a cent. 

Getting Started

Please note: correspondence must be made between yourself and VetPay directly. However, as one of the many vets that accept VetPay around Australia, Clyde Veterinary Hospital makes it easy to apply, so long as you meet a few key requirements. You must:

• Be the primary owner of the pet
• Be 18 years or older
• Meet VetPay standard credit requirements
• Have a good credit history
• Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

If you meet all of these criteria, you’ll need to provide VetPay with specific details and documents:

• A recognised form of identification, such as a driver’s licence, Photo ID card, Medicare card, passport, Australian birth certificate or council rates or notices
• Your personal information, such as name, date of birth, address and mobile number
• Your employer’s details, such as their name and address
• Your income details
• Your monthly expenses, such as your rent and loan repayments, and any liabilities

GapOnly

GapOnly is a payment service that works with selected pet insurance brands, so you can access your pet insurance benefit right away for eligible expenses. Rather than paying us the full invoice upfront and waiting days to be reimbursed, we submit your claim on the spot, on your behalf, while you’re at our clinic.

How It Works

If your pet is insured with one of GapOnly’s pet insurance partners, then GapOnly works with your vet to immediately reimburse you with the amount that your policy will cover – so you only have to pay the gap between the invoice and the benefit. This means that you don’t have to wait for days or weeks for your insurer to reimburse you.

Getting Started

There are a few different ways to claim with GapOnly. 

The first way to do it is to submit for pre-approval, before your pet goes in for their procedure to see if it will be covered. 

The second option is to submit a claim before your pet is discharged from the vet’s care, giving the vet permission to lodge the claim on your behalf with GapOnly, so the entire process is completed by the time you arrive to collect your pet. 

The last way to access GapOnly is with an on-the-spot claim as you pick up your pet. Simply inform your vet that you would like to utilise GapOnly, and your claim will be processed within ten minutes. Just pay the gap between your policy and your invoice, and you can leave with your pet.
