How It Works
If your pet is insured with one of GapOnly’s pet insurance partners, then GapOnly works with your vet to immediately reimburse you with the amount that your policy will cover – so you only have to pay the gap between the invoice and the benefit. This means that you don’t have to wait for days or weeks for your insurer to reimburse you.
There are a few different ways to claim with GapOnly.
The first way to do it is to submit for pre-approval, before your pet goes in for their procedure to see if it will be covered.
The second option is to submit a claim before your pet is discharged from the vet’s care, giving the vet permission to lodge the claim on your behalf with GapOnly, so the entire process is completed by the time you arrive to collect your pet.
The last way to access GapOnly is with an on-the-spot claim as you pick up your pet. Simply inform your vet that you would like to utilise GapOnly, and your claim will be processed within ten minutes. Just pay the gap between your policy and your invoice, and you can leave with your pet.
